Cleaning Validation – Engineer
About the Company:
Innopharma Technical Services, part of Innopharma Group, specializes in the training and provision of highly skilled, project ready, Contract Engineers & Scientists to the (Bio) Pharmaceutical and MedTech Manufacturing Sector.
We are now seeking a Cleaning Validation Engineer to support our client based in Co. Limerick.
Location: Limerick
Contract Type: 12 months contract role (Possibility of Extension)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting manufacturing Upstream/Downstream processes with CIP/SIP, sampling, and validation activities.
- Leading the preparation, execution, and reporting of cleaning validation protocols.
- Investigating and troubleshooting cleaning issues during study runs.
- Maintaining and updating the site Cleaning Validation Plan.
- Collaborating across departments to schedule activities, drive continuous improvements, and ensure training compliance.
- Preparing technical documentation including deviations, change controls, reports, and SOPs.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum Level 8-degree in science or related.
- Proven experience in QA activities for cleaning validation within a GMP environment.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with aseptic techniques, gowning (ISO7/ISO8), and coverage testing.
- Knowledge of validation requirements for new equipment and clean-into-service processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage large programs and multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
